Registration as a bestfewo host with accommodation that can be booked online is free of charge.
There are no one-off or ongoing costs: bestfewo only receives an agency fee if a booking is successful.
This means:
- Free presentation of your accommodation on bestfewo
- Free presentation of your accommodation on the largest rental portals
- Success-based agency fee of 14% plus VAT on the total price for successful online bookings

In the “Become a host in just 5 minutes” section, you will be taken to the registration page immediately after clicking on “Become a host”. We recommend that you save and/or print out the terms and conditions.
What happens after registration?
After binding registration, you will receive direct access to your personal host area. Log in there with your access data and enter all the details about your vacation accommodation. Have photos and floor plans ready to upload in your host area. You will also find plenty of space to describe your accommodation in detail.
You can edit the following data in the bestfewo host area at any time:
- Photos
- Description texts
- Characteristics
- Availabilities
- Seasonal periods and prices
- Additional services
- iCal link management
So that everything is perfect: As soon as you have sent us your information in the host access, our experts will check your exposé and release it for distribution after a successful quality check. This doesn't take very long. It usually takes a maximum of three working days from the time your information is checked until it is activated on bestfewo.
What happens when I book online?
If the vacationer books your vacation apartment / vacation home via bestfewo, this booking is binding - for you and your guest.
Immediately after the binding online booking, you will receive a booking confirmation with the following data:
- Address data of the guest
- Telephone number of the guest
- E-mail address of the guest
- Travel period and booked services
- Terms of payment
We have standardized the booking confirmations. The content always remains the same except for the contact details, property, period and price. You can contact your guest immediately to clarify arrival details or special requests during the stay. This is very helpful for special target groups such as allergy sufferers.
Once we have received a booking, we will inform you immediately by SMS on your cell phone. This service is free of charge for you.
How do I get paid?
With the booking confirmation, the guest will be informed about payment modalities and cancellation fees. These are standardized for every booking.
You will receive payment from the holidaymaker by bank transfer, i.e. you will receive your money before the guest arrives.
For bookings made at very short notice, it is up to you to collect the money in cash on arrival or to have a bank transfer voucher sent to you before arrival.
How do I edit an existing advertisement?
You can edit your ad at any time in the host area.
It is important that you always keep your details up to date. This will prevent your guests from having false expectations and avoid complaints and annoyance.
So that everything is perfect: Our experts will check your “new” exposé and release it for distribution again after a successful quality check. This does not take very long. It usually takes a maximum of three working days from the time your details are checked until they are released on bestfewo.
Cancellation - and now?
Life doesn't always stick to our plans. As annoying as it may be, cancelations are part of renting out vacation apartments. Illness, accidents or other events can cause your guest to cancel the booking of your accommodation.
Something can also happen to you, leaving you unable to fulfill your obligations as a host. All it takes is a burst water pipe in the vacation apartment. In any case, you must inform bestfewo immediately of the cancellation! You cannot cancel a booking made via bestfewo in the system yourself.
If your guest has canceled, the cancellation rules agreed in the booking apply. They are part of the accommodation contract with you. As soon as we become aware of a cancellation, usually by the vacationer, we will of course inform you immediately.
We will immediately release the relevant period again so that other vacationers can book your accommodation.
If you as the host have to cancel, please let us know the reason.
How does channel management work?
Optimal occupancy of your vacation accommodation can only be achieved if your accommodation is seen by many potential vacationers.

This means that your accommodation - in addition to the top placement on bestfewo - can also be found on the most important and largest rental portals.
This is because the bestfewo partner network has maintained interfaces to the largest vacation home portals for many years.
The release into the bestfewo partner network takes place automatically when your accommodation goes live on bestfewo. At this point, the partners in the bestfewo partner network are informed that your property can be included.
As a rule, your accommodation will be present on most portals in the bestfewo partner network after a few days. Some others do not update daily, but weekly or fortnightly.
